We opened our new restaurant on Saturday 7 November 2009 on top of the Ashmolean Museum.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Our view is that food is a celebration of culture, alongside art and literature.
Taking inspiration from the great European culinary traditions, where dining is a convivial event, our menu will offer rustic, regional and authentic dishes designed to share; from a range of smaller plates such as salted cod croquettes and saffron aioli, babaganoush, or charcuterie to larger dishes like whole gremolata crusted sea bream or Cornish fish stew.
At lunch a range of lighter salads and chef's special sandwiches will be available.
In the afternoon a traditional afternoon tea from the tea trolley, served on our own selection of vintage china.
